EZ 37:21-28. PSALM. JER 31. GOSPEL. JN 11:45-56.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>THEME: THE PROMISE OF RESTORATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lord, through the prophet Ezekiel has promised to restore all his scattered children throughout the world. This promise is brought about through the death of Jesus Christ on the Calvary. In the Gospel today, the conspiracy to kill Jesus has been sealed through the prophecy of Caiaphas. Hear how he puts it, &#8220;you don&#8217;t seem to have grasped the situation at all; you fail to see that it is better for one man to die for the people, than for the whole nation to be destroyed.&#8221;(Jn11:49-50). From that day they were determined to kill him. The plot to eliminate Jesus is just concluded. With this plan of men, divine promise of restoration will be fulfilled. Without Jesus dying for you and I, the mission of redemption will not have been achieved. This is why the scripture says everything work for good for those who love God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this promise to restore humanity, you have a role to play. Your duty is to appropriate the gift of salvation through a life of Submissiveness to the will of God. What the Lord has promised he fulfilled. But you must do your part by living a life of harmony, a life of obedience, a life of Virtue, a life of Faith, Hope and Love. This is how you work out your salvation with fear and trembling. (Phil 2:12).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You should make every effort to repent of your sins. It is sin that separates you from God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">May the Lord gives you the grace to remain faithful till the end. Amen.
